Founded in 2007. MDDHosting has its main office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Its new servers are located in the Handy Networks data center in Denver Colorado. It is a privately owned company. It is a relatively small business. MDDHosting prides itself in providing efficient quality of services and support to their clients and customers. According to MDDHosting, it is the company’s aim to render maximum quality web hosting. Without the entailing high price (much like SiteGround). The company declares that they just serve. Do not think of their clients as potential dollar figures.
Whenever I review hosts, I like to look at some things. What features do they offer? Performance? Do they have much downtime? How good is customer support? Then I write an MDDHosting summary.
Now let’s get started with this MDDHosting review. Then you can decide if MDDHosting will work.
MDDHosting offers some different hosting plans which should be able to support almost any type of website you might need. For instance, they offer shared, reseller, VPS, and dedicated plans. You do have the option to use their premium plans which use SSD technology. Their prices are going to be a little higher than other competing hosts. However, I want to make it clear that you are paying for quality services whenever you sign up for MDDHosting. Now, let’s take a look at all the plans and features that they offer.
The prices for their shared plans are down below:
There are no setup fees when you choose to use MDDHosting for your shared servers. They come with unlimited email accounts (POP3 & IMAP), auto-responders, forwarding, and unlimited domain and subdomain support. You do get a discount on the price. If you elect to pay for your service on an annual billing cycle.
The prices for their reseller plans are down below:
Also, just like their shared plans reseller plans comes with free setups. A lot of other hosting companies will charge you a setup fee just to migrate your data over to their servers. For reseller accounts, they do use WHMCS which does have a functioning demo of their control panel. Just like their shared plans, you will get a savings of 5,10, and 15 dollars per month whenever you sign up for an annual billing cycle.
The prices for their VPS plans are down below:
As you might have guessed, VPS servers are free to setup with MDDHosting. For their operating system, they are using CentOS 6, and you do have full root access to your control panel. Just like reseller and shared plans you do get a discount of 10,15, and 20 dollars per month whenever you sign up for an annual billing cycle.
For dedicated plans, MDDHosting does do it a little different that other hosting companies. They do not give the prices for their dedicated plans on their site. Instead, you need to request a quote to get the actual costs. But, they do offer four different plans for dedicated servers. The details are down below:
Premium plans are available to their clients for those webmasters that are looking for a beefed up shared server. Meaning that if you need more resources than shared hosting offers, this might be a good option for you. They provide more bandwidth, 2 CPU cores rather than 1, 50 concurrent MySQL connections, free LiteSpeed, etc.
A lot of webmasters have grown very comfortable with using cPanel for their control panel. For their control panel, MDDHosting does use cPanel. Unlike a lot of other companies, they will charge you separately for a cPanel license. However, they do it a little different. Meaning that with all of your hosting plans cPanel is included for free.
If you need to install WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc. they do support a 1-click installer. The only thing they will charge you extra for is for Softaculous which is $2/month ($24/year).
MDDHosting does come with a 30 day money-back guarantee. As mentioned above their prices are little bit higher than other companies. However, if their performance and uptime are on par with other companies it will be worth paying a little extra to insure the stability of your servers. Now, comes the part of the review when I will take a look at their performance, uptime, and then customer support. At the end of the review I will summarize MDDHosting and let you know if I recommend them.
MDDHosting Uptime & Performance
MDDHosting is very reliable, and you can expect a 99.9% uptime with them. Lots of happy customers are widely reporting this. What I like about MDDHosting is they use Litespeed, which is noted to be nine times faster than Apache, so regarding speed, you can expect the fastest load times imaginable (it’s quite amazing). Another great asset that makes their reliability soar over other competing hosting services is they are protected by “R1Soft Continuous Date Protection”. Will restore your data every day, and you can even go back to a point as far as seven days ago. I like the security that you’ll have with MDDHosting. You are never going to have to worry about your data being lost; you can just revert to a previous restore point. Ask

One cool thing about MDDHosting that I like is they are integrated with Pingdom Tools. They have 13 different servers and have a page on their site which is their server status page. This page shows all their various servers. It shows whether they are up or down and then has a link to their public records at Pingdom Tools.
I have monitored their uptime for ten months and noticed that their servers are up 99.99% – 99.95% of the time each and every single month. It’s safe to say that you can trust your servers are going to be up all the time with MDDHosting. In fact, downtime is a rare instance of them! You can look at their Facebook and Twitter and can see they communicate with their clients whenever they do have problems or issues.
I had very high hopes for MDDHosting regarding performance. Why? Because they are using SSD drives which are 10X faster than the traditional spinning hard drive. Their servers should be very quick since they are using SSD. What I like to do is go to isitdownrightnow.com. What this allows me to do is ping their servers. Once, I ping their servers I get a read out of their response times on their servers.
For response times they are measured in ms (milliseconds). Anything in under 20 ms is considered to be very fast. Anything that falls in between the 21-50 ms range is deemed to be average. Typically, anything in the 51+ ms range is considered to be slow. So, I ran my test on isitdownrightnow.com and found out that their servers respond insanely quick. The response time was 4.25 ms. Very quick. In fact, it’s one of the fastest response times I have measured over six years of reviewing different web hosting companies.
Research shows sites are fast with MDDHosting. HostingFacts.com has MDDHosting reviews which show how fast their servers are. Many other sites stress how quick MDDHosting is.
MDDHosting Customer Support
Their customer support is great, and you can call them 24/7 for customer support (in the United States and also internationally. Also, you can fill out a support ticket which is usually answered within 2-4 hours). They are so fast at replying to you! They do even have a nice mix of in-house and outsourced customer service. You might be thinking this is bad, but you can always trust that someone will be there to answer your questions and concerns. You can contact them on the phone, live chat support ticket, and even email.
Their techs are very knowledgable, and I was blown away by their level of technology. Not to mention their owner Michael Denney actively participates on WebHostingTalk.com, which shows that they are very active in reaching out to their clients.
MDDHosting really does care to keep their customers happy!
MDDHosting Review Summary
The bottom line is MDDHosting is a great host. They treat their customers very respectfully and even participate on the WebHostingTalk.com forums. While their prices are a tad bit higher for their plans, you’re paying for a quality service. If you decide to avail of their services you won’t have to put up with slow loading times, support that could care less, or frequent downtime. They have proven to be most reliable and competent in delivering the services you pay for – every little penny’s worth. If you’re an MDDHosting client, I would love to hear what you have to say about your experience with them. Please take the time to share this review on any social media accounts you actively participate. As always thanks for taking the time to read this full review.
