TMDHosting was started in 2007. They are a United States based company. TMDHosting has seven data centers. They are located in Phoenix, Chicago, London, Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney, and in Amsterdam.
Quickly, they have grown their client base to over 60,000. TMDHosting has lots of different plans. I will now go over their features, performance, uptime, and customer support. Lastly, at the end of my expert TMDHosting review, I will either recommend them or point you elsewhere.
TMDHosting Features
Shared Servers
TMDHosting has three different plans for you to choose from. Here are the plans that they offer:
- Starter. $2.85/month. Can host 1 website. Do get a free domain when you purchase this plan. Also, does use SSD hard drives.
- Business. $5.85/month. Also, get a free domain. Also, you do get a free SSL. The performance is twice as fast as the starter plan, too.

Performance
How good is TMDHosting’s performance?
Very solid. Here is why; they use SSD hard drives for most of their plans. Every plan except TMDHosting’s dedicated plans come with SSD. Their dedicated plans do come with SATA. Servers are not overloaded like popular hosts GoDaddy and Hostgator.
I have actually had a website moved with TMDHosting. They moved their shared servers to a cloud based infrastructure. They sent me a message stating that I need to update my DNS settings.
I did have to change my DNS settings, but me many other people have been happy with the performance we have received from TMDHosting. But, from the research I have done, it does look like their customers are happy with the performance with TMDHosting.
Uptime
How good is the uptime with TMDHosting?
Very solid just like their performance. TMDHosting does have a status page http://status.tmd.cloud/ which does show the uptime of their servers.
A lot of companies have a 99% uptime guarantee. TMDHosting does have an uptime agreement, too.
But, I did do some research on TMDHosting and found this TMDHosting review which does show they have excellent uptime. There is other similar review sites and content on the internet that shows that their uptime is decent, too.
TMDHosting Customer Support
How good is TMDHosting’s customer support?
In one word they are “great”. I have used them over the years and have come to heavily rely on customer support. A lot of hosting companies like MochaHost and Network Solutions are lacking regarding customer support.
There are a couple ways you get in touch with TMDHosting. Here are the following ways to contact them:

- Support ticket.
- Telephone.
From my experience working with TMDHosting’s support has been exceptional. Live chat connects instantly and someone is available to help you within seconds. Support tickets are answered quickly. But, whenever a support ticket is answered they give you a well-written response. From the research I have done it looks like others are very happy with support, too.
TMDHosting Review Summary
Do I recommend TMDHosting? Yes. TMDHosting is a solid option for your web hosting needs. TMDHosting has a solid track record amongst webmasters. They have gotten a lot of positive reviews from other web hosting sites.
Support is very responsive with TMDHosting. I do like how they use SSD hard drives. You do get a free domain with most of their web hosting plans, too. These free domains are for life which is a big plus for me.
Their prices are right on par with other web hosting companies. Support is very responsive with TMDHosting. You do get a free SSL certificate with them when you sign up, which is nice, too. There is a 60-day money-back guarantee with all their plans except their reseller plans.
Overall, TMDHosting is a very solid option and I am confident that if you sign up with them you will be happy with their service.
Can’t really think of anything negative to say about TMDHosting. They simply do everything a hosting company should do.
